Global Organic Textile Standard (G.O.T.S.) has been developed by leading international organizations in organic agriculture in order to guarantee the consumer that organic textile products are obtained in compliance with stringent environmental and social criteria applied at all levels of production, from the collection in the field of natural fibers to the subsequent manufacturing phases, up to the labelling of the finished product. GOTS, responding to the strong demand for common production criteria by the industry and the distribution of textile and clothing products, has obtained a vast international recognition that allows those who produce and sell organic textile products to have available a certification accepted in all the main markets.

The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certification is the worldwide best-known voluntary “ecological-label” for textile products and accessories. Responsible Animal Fiber (R.A.F.) is the most important certification standard of products that contain animal fibers coming from sustainable farms.
It has brought together the R.W.S., R.M.S. and R.A.S. standards and it is sponsored by Textile Exchange, one of the most important international non-profit organizations for responsible and sustainable development in the textile sector.
Ipotesi S.r.l. is certified R.W.S. which means Responsible for Wool Standard.
The products certified according to this scheme contain wool fiber from farms independently certified according to animal welfare and land management requirements.

The incentives of the market and the sensitivity to the environmental issues have led Ipotesi S.r.l. to address the issue of the risk of toxic and harmful chemical substances with the clear objective of protecting humans and the environment.
For this reason, Ipotesi S.r.l. adopted the 4sustainability® Chemical Management protocol for the implementation of the M.R.S.L. of Z.D.H.C..
This protocol was created to gradually eliminate toxic and harmful substances from production processes for the environment and human health.
